Imagine one is just about to discover a solution and it is that moment when the solution to a complex problem has just entered one’s mind after a very long and hard spell of concentration but alas,
the Eureka moment is lost as at that very precise instant someone else called out loudly…” Hey! are you not coming for coffee?” What a disaster!! How frustrating!! The train of thoughts is already derailed. All the hard work is lost.
Well this happened because the colleague who called for coffee had no idea as to how intense was the concentration of the other person.
Now could there be a way to avoid such a situation and send a signal or a warning to one and all working around to say that look I am immensely occupied and extremely busy and must not be disturbed and say this without uttering a word—the answer is Yes and the answer is BUSYLIGHT.
A very innovative yet a very simple device that will send a message to one and all that this is “Do Not Disturb Zone” – Please stay away. Imagine it is communicated without uttering a word with the help of an audio visual indicator that has been turned RED. Everyone around after seeing red light on, would quietly move away without causing any disturbance or spoiling one’s concentration.
Once the person has achieved what he or she wanted to and is out of that resolute focus the indicator is changed to color GREEN indicating that person is now available for any collaboration. So simple and yet so effective.
